mod pastel wedding inspiration

One of the coolest things about working in a creative industry is the wellspring of collaboration possibilities. I also find it thrilling how you never know when or where your next idea might be born. Back in May, I participated in The Wedding Co. Spring Event at the Gladstone Hotel. I was serendipitously placed right next to the women of Distinct Occasions. Throughout the day, during quieter moments, we chatted about all things weddings and talked about different ideas we'd had for editorial shoots over the years. When Gina, one of Distinct Occasions' planners, suggested the idea of a dreamy, mod, pastel farewell to Mad Men (our beloved show whose series finale would air that same month) I was all over it. By the end of the day, simply by talking to other exhibitors at the show, Gina had pulled together a dream team of industry professionals. It was an absolute pleasure to work with all of these talented folks.
