A month has flown by since my last personal update and I can barely believe it. Since last time, I've wrapped up my 2014 wedding season. The final big day was the nuptials of Jackie & Geoff, and I'm excited to share the images and story of their wedding with you guys this week. Since then, I've been doing lots of family portraits and yesterday I spent time with a beautiful expecting mama during a maternity session. I'm also getting really excited as my 2015 season begins to take shape!
In my spare time, I've been baking cookies, attending workshops, sipping tea to stay warm in my chilly apartment, reading magazines from SOOP SOOP, snacking on British fare and cider at this cozy pub, joining a new gym, celebrating friends' birthdays, going on my first holiday home tour, enjoying weekday brunches with friends, searching for a choir or singing group to join, collecting a few more treasures for our place, and trying to finish my Goodreads reading challenge before the year's end.
Apart from snapping photos on my camera for instagram, I hardly took any personal photos this month. I did, however, bring along my camera to the 89th birthday of my grandma. I rounded up her dogs for a birthday portrait in the middle of the celebrations.
The evening ended with my grandma karate chopping her cake (evidence below) after we told her it was a Swedish tradition. It was a beautiful day and I was so grateful to get to celebrate with the sassy and formidable matriarch of our family.
Wishing you a wonderful week!
