Amanda and Kory's lives have been long been intertwined. Their paths crossed throughout childhood, their faces always familiar to each other. During high school, they shared a homeroom and even had their lockers side by side. Once graduation rolled around, however, their paths diverged and they didn't speak for three years. Then one day, after a chance meetup, a few random get-togethers (and kiss on the nose) their lives were pulled into parallel once again.
They will be married in Montreal next autumn and I couldn't be more excited to photograph the day they vow to keep their lives forever connected. We met up earlier this month to do their engagement portraits in Montreal's Little Italy. They wanted their photo location to have a rustic/industrial feel and I was happy to find an assortment of fitting spots. And though some were less traditionally scenic than others, their enthusiasm never waned.
Amanda and Kory, I had so much fun with you guys during your engagement session. You made me laugh so hard, especially when we stumbled upon, um, less photogenic corners of the neighbourhood. Thank you for spending some of your rare and precious free time together to do this session. It was wonderful to document your amazing chemistry, as well as the true friendship you share. I can't wait until your wedding. In the meantime, congratulations on purchasing your first house, and I look forward to hearing about how you make it into a home!
