st george's golf and country club wedding | nicki & adam

Nicki and Adam are like sugar and spice.

She is one of the the sweetest people you will meet, and he is one of the funniest. Nicki is a warm and caring person who adores her family and friends, her career, her pet bunnies, and of course, her brand new husband. In the many years I've known Adam, I've seen him fill even the most mundane circumstances with side-splitting laughter. He finds funny moments everywhere and when they're not appearing, he creates them. Nicki lights up when Adam makes her laugh, and her perennially bright smile is even more dazzling when he jokes just for her.

On Nicki and Adam's wedding day, the sun came out and everyone was ready to celebrate. Between their candlelit ceremony that was steeped in tradition and their spectacular reception at St. George's Golf and Country Club, the entire day was lovely from beginning to end.

Nicki and Adam, I was so touched when you asked me to be your wedding photographer as we celebrated New Year's Eve together. I wish you two all the happiness in the world, and I look forward to every bit of time we spend together in the years to come. I know your life will always be filled with fun, friends, family and big laughs (and bunnies).

Nicki and her girls got ready for the big day at her parents' home in Etobicoke. Her beautiful Watters wedding gown, which she had customized to suit her vision, was so romantic and classic.

I loved watching Nicki interact with her young family members. You can tell see how much she loves children and that her chosen career of teaching was the perfect one for her.

That bouquet! Nicki's florist, Elaine of N-DEZINE, did an beautiful job.

Meanwhile, Adam and his gentlemen prepared at his parents home in Port Credit. Brian was kind enough to do double duty as a groomsman and photographer during this portion of the day.

The ceremony took place at the Ukrainian Church of St. Demetrius. It was my first opportunity to photograph a Ukrainian Orthodox ceremony, and I loved documenting all the beautiful rituals and traditions.

Now this, my friends, is one happy bride!

After the ceremony was complete, we all headed to St. George's Golf and Country Club for the reception. I loved Adam and Nicki's escort cards. They handmade each and every one!

St. George's is a pretty darn exquisite place to get married. The grounds are stunning, and the interior of the clubhouse is the perfect mix of cozy and refined, with loads of natural light flowing in the large windows.

Adam and Nicki's guests were treated to amazing music by Soular, a group of fantastically talented musicians who got the dance floor going strong from the very first song.

An extra special thanks to my mom and Brian for helping photograph the big day!
