classic makeup looks: sneak peek

Starting next week, I'm kicking off an eight-part series of posts about my favourite makeup looks. I'll teach you how to recreate them, and also tell you which products you can use to do so. Now, if I'm being honest, this whole thing has me feeling a bit shy. You all know I'm happiest behind the camera, but for this series of posts, I'll be in front of it, big time. I'm not a model, and it's just a lot face. It's all for you guys and your beauty education though, so I hope you will be able to benefit from it! Here's a little peek at the looks we'll be exploring:

These are my go-to looks for occasions from casual to fancy. They also happen to the looks most often requested by clients. I am pretty inconsistent when applying my own makeup, as I'm constantly experimenting with new techniques. This year, however, as I work to strengthen all facets of my business, I am all about simplifying, systemizing, and perfecting, so I've been practicing all these looks to get them down to an art.

Before we get started, I'd love to hear from you. Are there any makeup looks you've always wanted to learn about? From ombré lips to smoky eyes, I'm happy to field any questions. So please leave a question in the comments, and I'll try to incorporate my answers into an upcoming post!
