Even when I'm on vacation, I find it so important to keep practicing photography. I don't like to go more than a few days without taking photos. While I desperately needed to unwind, I found that quick portrait sessions (about 15-20 minutes) with friends were a great way to keep my creative momentum going without sacrificing relaxation.

Last weekend, while we were staying at our friends Jordan and Christina's place, I was able to take a few minutes and do some portraits in their Design*Sponge-worthy apartment. As you will see, Christina is an absolutely stunning person whose beauty and style leave everyone who meets her in awe. Brian makes fun of me for my unabashed adoration of Christina's hair and fashion sense. I'll admit I am "borderline creepy" (Brian's words) when it comes to my style crush, but I'm sure you will join me in it momentarily.

Christina, thank you for your willingness to pose for me on a Saturday after a very fun, late night that started with beer and ended with deep fried pickles at 4 am. Few people could look this fabulous after a party! You're a peach, and I greatly appreciate it.

For Christina's makeup, I created a very basic natural face, using nude, peach and bronze tones. I wanted a simple look that complemented her cozy outfit and loose waves.
