auberge du vieux-port wedding | elana & lori

The weather is warm, the sky is a vibrant blue, and on this beautiful Halloween weekend, two wonderful people are getting married. When Lori and Elana arrive for their wedding portraits, they're both laughing as they jump out of their limo. Their smiles set the tone for the day, and all the moments that follow this one are filled with unadulterated joy and love.

Elana and Lori, thank you for choosing me to document your wedding day. Brian and I were so honoured to share in all the fun and laughter, and to be there as you two pledged your love for each other. Thank you for making us feel like family on your big day. I wish you a long lifetime of happiness together.

When we met at Westmount Park for portraits, we only have 10-15 minutes until we're supposed to be at the ceremony, so we all jump right into photos. Luckily, I have Brian with me as my second shooter, so we can work quickly. The above photo of the beautiful brides is his.

These next two photos by Brian.

This next one by Brian. I love how they coordinated their bracelets, and how the ruching on their dresses each others.

After their portraits, we headed to Temple Emanu-el-Beth Shalom to start the business of making things official. First, they signed the Ketubah in the Rabbi's study. This was a lovely moment shared between Elana, Lori, and their closest family members.

Then there was the beautiful, intimate ceremony.

Congratulations to the beautiful brides! You're married!

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests arrived at Auberge du Vieux-Port, which is a stunning venue in the heart of Old Montreal. Everyone enjoyed a lovely night, full of so much happiness for these two lovely people.
