I'm so excited to share part one of two of Harpreet and Stephen's beautiful Edmonton wedding with you today. I was fortunate to document three days of their celebrations, beginning with their sangeet (engagement party) for family and friends. The night featured an engagement ceremony, singing, dancing, and excellent food and drink. Next came the first part of their multicultural marriage celebration, their lovely ceremony at the gurdwara, followed by portraits of the bride and groom braving the savage beauty of Edmonton winter.
Harpreet and Stephen, thank you so much for inviting me to photograph your wedding celebrations. It was an honour and a privilege to join in on all the fun! You two are so wonderful in every way. Thank you for remembering me (after we met in Toronto) when you moved back to your hometown of Edmonton.
Stay tuned for part two of their wedding adventures!
Wedding day one, beginning with a ceremony at the gurdwara.
After the ceremony, Harpreet and Stephen were brave enough to wander outside in the beautiful soft light of winter for their portraits.
