Kate and Colin are people who move. Physically speaking, as dedicated triathletes, they are constantly on the go. Rarely sitting still, they're busy inspiring everyone who knows them as they zip around constantly multitasking, often moving almost as a blur, lapping the average human. They also move people on an emotional level. Colin's buoyant personality and entrepreneurial spirit allow him to share his innovative ideas with the world, while Kate's superb communication skills (and the Gilmore Girl-esque speed of her speech!) along with her exquisite writing abilities have affected countless conversation partners and readers alike. On more than one occasion, the uncommon honesty and beauty of her writing has brought me to tears.

It was fitting then, that their wedding invitation featured a bicycle built for three. Kate + Colin + their darling baby girl, little C. The dynamic trio, moving at an accelerated pace, spreading joy and love and laughter wherever they roam.

They were married in a beautiful ceremony at Toronto's St. Patrick's Church, followed by a rollicking reception at The Old Mill surrounded by their hilarious and loving families and friends. My favourite moment of the day was when Kate and Colin danced enthusiastically into their party with such grace everyone assumed it had been choreographed. Before long, their little girl ran towards them arms outstretched, eager to join the fun. They embraced her and the three of them completed their entrance dance together. It was so lovely. Even better, they were accompanied by the ever-entertaining Dave Murphy Band, who played at my own wedding as well!

Kate and Colin, thank you so much for inviting me to celebrate your wedding day with you as your friend and photographer. I feel so lucky to have been there with my camera for several of your life milestones, dating back to snapshots of moments Kate and I shared together as students at Western University and exploring together in Dublin and Rome, to Kate's maternity and portraits of your family as a family of three. You guys are a fabulous match and I'm so very excited to hear about all your family's adventures.

A special thanks to my brother, Jon, for helping me photograph this beautiful day and for every other wedding you helped me with in 2016. You were so supportive and fun to be around, and your work is outstanding. Thank you!
